Tribute song to The Queen by Marsh Family from Faversham

A musical Kent family who went viral with their popular lockdown songs during the pandemic have shared a touching tribute to The Queen.

The Marsh household, who live in Faversham, have put their own stamp on the the Sound of Music's Edelweiss to remember the life of the much-loved monarch.

They filmed themselves singing the poignant tribute in their living room, with dad Ben on guitar.

The rewritten song includes the lyrics: "Lived her life in the light, all are mourning her leaving. Always polite. Queen by right. She kept people believing."

Mum Danielle also sings, along with Alfie, Thomas, Ella, and Tess.

The song even ends with a rendition of the national anthem, with Ella playing the trumpet.

The Marsh family went viral in 2020 after they took to singing about things people had been complaining about at the start of the first coronavirus lockdown.

People across the country instantly fell in love with the family's rendition of Les Misérables song One Day More as it became KentOnline's most read story of the year.

After we broke the story, the Marshes went on to became a viral sensation and made headlines across the world.
