A RETIREMENT presentation was held at Crufts to mark the career of a Dover-based customs dog.

Detector Dog Chase has detected £30m of smuggled drugs, tobacco and cigarettes in a career spanning five years.

The ceremony was hosted by BBC presenter Shauna Lowry and took place on Sunday afternoon in the main ring at Crufts. DD Chase also took part in a display by the ProPlan Protection team.

DD Chase has his own passport and worked in Dover and France. He will now live with his handler, Helen.
