Four arrests now in Michael Evans death crash case, involving red Peugeot 207, Frith Road, Dover

Two more people have been arrested by officers investigating a fatal collision.

Pedestrian Michael Evans, 53, died at the scene after the incident involving a red Peugeot 207 at Frith Road, Dover, more than two weeks ago.

Kent Police said that on Friday they arrested a 28-year-old man, of no fixed address, in Dover.

A spokesman said: "He was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and remains in custody as enquiries continue.

"A 39-year-old woman from Dover was also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and she has been bailed, pending further enquiries, until December 11."

The arrests have been made on top of those of a 31-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman, both from Dover, who were detained shortly after the collision.

These two have been bailed, pending further enquiries, until December 5.

The collision wast 5.40pm on Saturday, November 9.

Investigators want to hear from anyone with information who has not yet got in contact.

They particularly want dash camera footage of the Peugeot being driven in the Frith Road area that evening.
