Three quizzed over 'drugs factory'

TWO men and a woman have been arrested after Kent Police found what they describe as a factory for cultivating drugs.

Police officers attending an incident at an industrial estate at Winchelsea Road, Dover, became suspicious when they heard men’s voices.

Two men were found together with a hydroponics factory and a number of cannabis plants.

A 38-year-old man from Dover and a 36-year-old man from Folkestone were arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis.

As a result of their enquiries, police went to another address in Dover where they discovered some more cannabis plants. A 39-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis.

All three have been questioned and released on police bail while enquiries continue. They are due to attend at Dover Police Station again on March 10.
