New footage from the night shows Ms Spraggan addressing those talking through her set in a heated exchange where she says: "You've literally got the loudest voices tonight. Just go."

She added: "Have you ever got a £20 note, walked outside and just shoved it down the drain?

"Because that's what buying a ticket to an intimate quiet show is like when you ******* talk the whole way through it.

"Sorry to anyone that is having an amazing time and trying to really enjoy the show because I absolutely love being here and one of the hardest things is battling against people who are just massively disrespectful.

"Just ******* go.

"I'm not getting out, this is my show.

"You're talking to your dad, I'm talking to you, get the **** out of my show.

"I've never seen people behave like that in my life."

She was shortly ushered off stage.

One audience member said she felt the singer did not handle the situation well and shouting back only 'provoked' those causing trouble.

"One of the hardest things is battling against people who are just massively disrespectful... "

But others backed Ms Spraggen by cheering during the exchange and sending their support on social media.

The Booking Hall also showed its support calling the audience disruptions 'a dreadful display of disrespect'.

The 30-year-old gave an emotional statement online about the incident, claiming her security guard had his hand bitten and other venue staff were attacked.

She added that this was not the first time her latest tour had been overshadowed by unsettling incidents, including homophobia and inappropriate comments.

Today it was announced the remaining shows have been cancelled.

In a statement online the singers representatives said: "We are saddened to announce that Lucy has been advised to cancel all remaining dates on her Acoustic Choices Tour due to health reasons.

"We apologise to all fans who have bought tickets for the shows, Lucy cannot wait to get back on the road to see you all soon.
