TRIBUTES have been paid to a Kent man who died in hospital after his car left the road and crashed into a tree.

Michael Farbrace, 47, from Whitfield, near Dover, was fatally injured on the A258 between the Duke of York’s roundabout and Burgoyne Heights on Tuesday, February 5.

Mr Farbrace was a service manager at electronics company Megger, based in Archcliffe Road, Dover, and was married to Lin.

His parents Roy and Marion described him as their devoted son. They said: “He is sadly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.

“Michael worked at Megger for 19 years. He was a keen photographer and was a member of the Gateway Camera Club.”

Mr Farbrace had been driving his Ford Mondeo towards Dover when he hit a tree at about 6.40pm.

Firefighters cut him free from the car but he died later at the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford.
