Police are investigating reports that a 15-year-old boy sexually assaulted a teenage girl in an alley.

The attack is said to have happened in the cut-through of a residential area between St Radigunds Road and Beaufoy Road, Dover, at around 5.10pm on September 23.

A Kent Police spokesman said: “(We are ) investigating a report that a teenage girl was sexually assaulted in an alleyway between St Radigunds Road and Beaufoy Road, Dover.”

“A 15-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the incident and bailed while the investigation continues.”

Eye-witnesses reported seeing unmarked police cars and forensic teams in the area, with the alley cordoned off.
