Narrow escape after rocks thrown at man

A MAN was narrowly missed by two large flint rocks that were thrown at him in a Kent town.

The incident happened between noon and 12.30pm on Friday when the man was walking along Maison Dieu Road, Dover, near the entrance to the B&Q car park in Charlton Green.

The 51-year-old man swore at the person thought to be responsible and then apologised to a passing woman for swearing. Police want to trace this woman.

A 27-year-old local man has been arrested and released on bail pending further enquiries.
