More companies move into business park

Two companies have moved into a business park at Whitfield.

Van Developments and Rosewood Trucking are the latest firms to move into energy-efficient buildings at Beechwood Business Park.

And it has been revealed that talks are taking place with five companies who are considering moving onto the White Cliffs Business Park, also at Whitfield.

The £100m second phase of the development consists of 65 acres which will include­ new office, warehouse and industrial space and has the potential to create 1,800 jobs.

Steve Turner, development director at Muse Developments, said: “We’re delighted to bring to market the second phase of this flagship regeneration scheme.

"The expansion of White Cliffs Business Park will give a significant boost to the local economy and support inward investment efforts.”
