Three men suspected of carrying knives have been arrested in Dover this evening.
Armed police were sent to South Road after officers received a call about a "suspicious" vehicle travelling around Dover.
The car was found at 5.30pm and the three were taken into custody.
Eyewitnesses said they saw the officers, who were wearing bullet-proof vests, stop a silver BMW outside a shop.
A police spokesman said: "They have been arrested and are being taken into custody.
"No one was hurt during the incident."
