The delays come as protests continue at the Port of Calais and it is believed people are blockading the port.

The protests over job losses mean there is now traffic delays in Dover.

P&O Ferries has advised its customers to allow extra time for journeys.

They said: "Roads in and around Dover are heavily congested- please allow extra time for your journey to the Port."
