POLICE investigating an assault on a 16-year-old boy have released an e-fit of a suspect they would like to trace.

The boy was walking with a friend in Dour Street, Dover, at the junction with Goodfellow Way, just after 1pm on Monday, January 15, when he saw two groups of male and female youths.

As he passed one of the groups, two male youths assaulted him by throwing punches to his head which caused slight injuries.

The suspect in the e-fit is that of a white male aged 16 to 18, of slim build and 5ft 8in tall. He was wearing a woollen multi-coloured hat with ear flaps, a Lacoste cream coloured jacket and faded dark blue jeans.

He also wore a gold ring on his right hand. He had a small moustache over his top lip and a spot on the end of his nose.
