The street robbery is reported to have taken place in Folkestone Road, Dover, close to the junctions with Effingham Street and Christ Church Court yesterday afternoon.

The watch was a Hugo Boss type with a brown leather strap.

Det Insp Keith Taylor said: "Folkestone Road would have been busy at that time of day and we are asking anyone who was in the area on Monday afternoon and saw the incident to contact us."

The incident happened just over a day after another reported mugging a few minutes' walk away in New Street.

A suspect was arrested just after that incident and police are treating the two cases as separate.
