Cruise ship passengers arriving at Dover were among those hit when a company based at the terminal which provided chauffeur-driven cars throughout the UK and Europe ceased trading.

A notice in the window of the office of All Destinations, at the cruise terminal at the Western Docks, this week said the company had “ceased operating” and the telephone number was “temporarily out of order”.

Passengers on cruise ships arriving at the port on Thursday were among those affected. They had to wait several hours while other taxi companies were contacted to arrange transport.

On their website, All Destinations, states that it has more than 3,000 chauffeur drivers working in partnership with them.

The company also offered cars for excursions, production companies, West End theatre trips, sight-seeing tours to London and other historical sites in the UK.
