YOUNG Deal professional Sammy Moore has helped Ipswich reach the semi-finals of the FA Youth Cup and now has a clash against Tottenham to look forward to.

Sammy, of Vlissigen Drive, was in the Ipswich Under-18 team who swept Colchester aside 5-0 in last week’s quarter-final.

Their reward is a two-legged semi against Spurs, with the first leg at Portman Road on Friday, April 8, and the second leg at White Hart Lane five days later.

The former Dover College pupil, who is in the first year of the three-year scholarship with the Coca-Cola Championship Club, was on the substitutes’ bench for Ipswich Reserves in their Premier Reserve League game against West Ham recently.
