Chelsea legend Ron 'Chopper' Harris provides the entertainment at Deal Town

Former Chelsea captain Ron ‘Chopper’ Harris provided plenty of entertainment for everyone who came along to the Charles Ground on Saturday night.

Harris, who made a record 795 appearances for the Blues during his near 20-year career at Stamford Bridge, told the packed clubhouse some great stories about his time playing alongside the likes of Peter Bonetti, Peter Osgood and Bobby Tambling in the 1960s and 70s and also what it was like to mark George Best and Sir Bobby Charlton.

He also brought several signed photographs with him which were auctioned on the night, with the club keeping a share of the proceeds.
