Dover Athletic made it three wins out of three under new manager Chris Kinnear with a 3-0 victory at Weston-super-Mare on Saturday.

Whites never looked back after they took a 12th-minute lead through Ricky Modeste (pictured).

Skipper Ian Simpemba added Dover's second on 37 minutes with a header which slipped through the hands of Weston keeper Lloyd Irish.

Whites extended their lead early in the second half when Barry Cogan fired a 56th-minute free-kick against the post and Modeste slotted home the rebound.

The winger's chances of his first Whites hat-trick were spoilt when he limped off a few minutes later but Dover were already home and dry and, with Chelmsford losing 1-0 at Eastleigh, Kinnear’s side moved back up to third place in the Blue Square Bet South table.
