Items on sale will include vintage clothing, furniture and homewares, musical and military memorabilia, toys, jewellery, and local arts and crafts.

Parish clerk Kirsty Holroyd said: "The Brocante is now one of the largest such fairs in Kent and continues to delight both local residents and tourists.

"From Bank Holiday browsers soaking up the atmosphere to serious buyers from all over the UK the Brocante offers something for everyone.”

Valuers from The Canterbury Auction Galleries will be in attendance to advice visitors about their collectables and how to convert these into cash at auction.

They will be on hand to chat with visitors between 10am and 1pm in return for a small donation in aid of local charities, Walmer Lifeboat and Deal Memorial Bandstand Trust.
