A Bayliss mini-bus has been recovered from The Strand in Walmer this morning after it broke down.

The white vehicle was blocking both lanes next to Deal Castle at about 8.35am, which stopped traffic heading towards the town centre.

Delays were only minor, but a National Express bus and a double-decker Stagecoach bus were unable to move around it, causing slight disruption to their services.

The police were there to re-direct traffic around the obstruction.

A spokesman has since confirmed that the scene is now clear and traffic is flowing.
