Deal rower Hannah Moon will bid to earn a place in the Great Britain team for the world junior rowing championships this weekend.

The Sir Roger Manwood’s pupil is taking part in the final trials at Nottingham, where the GB team will be chosen after four days of intense racing.

Meanwhile Hannah’s younger brother Luke has also been busy out on the water.

On Saturday he raced for Tideway Scullers in the Marlow International at Dorney Lake, finishing second in the J164X quad race over the Olympic distance of 2000m

Then on Sunday, Luke competed at Thames Valley Park where he won J154X quad in a close race with Wallingford.
