Police are investigating a garage burglary in Thornbridge Road in Deal, last night.
The incident took place between 10.30pm yesterday and 8.30am this morning.
It is understood the burglar entered the garage through the roof.
It is also believed the home owner witnessed a male trying to enter her garden earlier in the evening but spooked him.
He left his ladder behind.
A police spokesman said: “Enquiries are ongoing.”
