Those who wish to donate are assured social distancing and PPE precautions will be upheld.

They just need to park briefly in a dedicated space, drop off donations and drive away.

Volunteers are particularly calling for puddings, custard, tinned potatoes, pot noodles, washing-up liquid, kitchen cleaners, gravy granules, and hot dogs.

The ongoing coronavirus pandemic has brought no disruption to their ability to reach users because food deliveries have replaced the traditional centres.

All those in need should phone 01304 728428.

The best way to donate during the Covid-19 lockdown is at Sainsbury's or Co-op stores.

Large donations can be phoned through for collection if people don't want to leave their homes.
