The date of Dover Carnival has been changed again - it is now expected to take place on September 12.

It was originally due to have been held on July 3 but this clashed the Quarter Finals of the World Cup and gas repair work in Dover's Market Square. So it was postponed until August 28.

But it has now been put back again. Organers say they are also having to cope with changes to the guidelines for manning carnivals which mean that the police can not help them as they have in the past.
