Doncaster v Charlton

Linvoy Primus is set to make his debut for Charlton in tonight's first visit to Doncaster's Keepmoat Stadium as manager Alan Pardew considers ringing the changes after the disappointment of Saturday's first home defeat by Wolves.

Primus, who last played for Charlton in 1994, rejoined the club earlier this month on loan from Portsmouth.

Though Pardew would not be drawn on his selection for the Doncaster match immediately after Saturday's defeat, he will almost certainly turn to the inspirational central defender at the expense of Jonathan Fortune.

Tonight's match is of special significance for Nicky Bailey, scorer of Saturday's spectacular opener against Wolves. The midfielder was in the Southend side beaten 5-1 by Rovers in last season's League 1 play-off semi-final.

"Going back so soon is an opportunity for revenge," said Bailey who scored the Shrimpers' consolation. "I want to go there and beat them because that defeat really hurt."

Pardew is unlikely to risk China captain Zheng Zhi who was ruled out of a comeback against Wolves after being injured following a training ground tackle by club-mate Chris Dickson.

Zheng is likely to be available for Saturday's trip to Nottingham Forest.
