Parky: No Gills offer for Dickson

Charlton have dismissed speculation that transfer-listed striker Chris Dickson has been the subject of an approach from Gillingham.

Dickson's hugely successful spell on loan with the Gills last season, when he finished top-scorer,fuelled rumours that he was about to return to Priestfield on a permanent basis when the January window opens.

Addicks caretaker manager Phil Parkinson confirmed: "I have not spoken to anyone from Gillingham since Chris Dickson became available and neither has our chief executive Steve Waggott.

"We're looking for a good fee for Chris should he move on. But at the moment all I've received are offers from Division 1 clubs wanting to take him on loan but nothing permanent."
