Dartford's FA Trophy replay against FC Halifax has been moved away from The Shay.

The game will now be played at Droylsden's Butchers Arms Ground on Saturday in an attempt to finally get the third-round tie completed.

Darts came from 2-0 down to draw the first meeting 2-2 at Princes Park on Saturday, January 24.

The replay should have taken place in West Yorkshire three days later but it was postponed because of a waterlogged pitch and rescheduled for the following Tuesday.

However, a pitch inspection on Monday saw it pushed back 24 hours and it was the same story on Tuesday when the pitch, part of which was covered in snow, was again deemed unplayable.

A statement on the FC Halifax website said: "The FA are extremely keen to have the outstanding ties from the third round concluded as soon as possible.

"After discussions with the council, it was not possible to guarantee any prospect of staging a game over this weekend, either Saturday or Sunday.

"We are assured that the Droylsden pitch will be playable unless there is some incredibly heavy rain or returning freezing temperatures."

The winners of Saturday's game will play Wrexham or Gateshead in the quarter-finals on Tuesday.
