Leeds United 2 Charlton Athletic 2 match report

Charlton boss Bob Peeters was left with mixed feelings after his side came from behind twice to draw with Leeds on Tuesday night.

Alex Mowsatt curled the home side in front at the start of the second half but the Addicks were level on 62 minutes when Johann Berg Gudmundsson scored from a tight angle.

A stunning strike from Mowsatt put Leeds back in front at Elland Road but Gudmundsson doubled his tally from the penalty spot, eight minutes from time, to earn Charlton a point which leaves them ninth in the Championship.

Peeters said: "If you see the circumstances of the game I think we did everything to get a point out of this game, and mentally it’s a good point because we’ve come back twice from a goal behind.

"I think the players are happy with the point, but still there was a feeling that we could have taken more from the game because we were controlling and we got better and better as the game went on.

"But every time we control the game we concede a goal and that kills our legs a bit. In the end we got a point and I think we deserved it."
