Dartford v Tooting & Mitcham

Boss Tony Burman believes the race for the Ryman League Premier Division play-offs will go to the wire this season.

Dartford dropped to sixth following their 1-0 defeat at Ashford (Middlesex) last week, and manager Burman is looking for an immediate response against Tooting & Mitcham at Princes Park on Saturday.

He said: “There are still a hell of a lot of sides involved, and anyone who puts a good run together could creep into the contest.

“It’s not over by a long way, and I am sure it will be that way for the next two months.”

John Guest (thigh) and Ryan Hayes (hamstring) are both responding to treatment and could face Tooting.

Midfielder James White is ruled out by suspension, after picking up his fifth booking against Billericay earlier this month, and sits out the game.

Burman said: “They have been through a rough period in the last few weeks but have had a couple of good results, including beating Hastings last week.

“It’s important to pick up points ourselves, having seen our great run ended.”
