Barnsley v Charlton

Charlton striker Deon Burton will miss Saturday's trip to Barnsley after picking up a fifth booking of the season.

Burton received a yellow card in stoppage time against Plymouth last Saturday for persistent fouling which has ruled him out of the trip to Oakwell.

Addicks manager Phil Parkinson is hopeful of being able to add Zheng Zhi to his squad, but won't rush him back.

He said: "We have to be careful we don't put ZiZi in too quickly and injure him.

"He's a very good player and he's going to play an important role between now and the end of the season."

Parkinson was able to extend the loan of Stoke midfielder Tom Soares for a further month this week.

"He was lacking match practice when he came here but as the games have gone on he's got better and better and we're pleased with his contribution," he said.
