Three women, arrested after a shooting in Greenhithe, have not been charged.

A 19-year-old and a 44-year-old, both from Sidcup, and a 23-year-old from Greenhithe, were bailed until today after the shooting in Moorhen Walk, Greenhithe, at the beginning of August.

All three have been refused charge and no further action will be taken against them by police at this time.

Billy Nelson Smith , 24, of Moorhen Walk, Greenhithe, and Billy Smith , 42, of Hillhouse Road, Stone, appeared at Maidstone Crown Court in August charged with grievous bodily harm with intent.

The father and son were arrested after a 51-year-old man was shot in the head and stomach.

The pair were remanded in custody until Friday, October 7.
