A woman has been taken to hospital with head injuries following an attack outside a theatre.

Police were called to the Orchard Theatre in Home Gardens, Dartford following reports of an unprovoked assault.

The 23-year-old is believed to have been out with her mum and sister when she was attacked at about 9.45pm last night.

Officers attended the scene and the woman was treated for injuries by members of the South East Coast Ambulance Service.

Enquiries continue into the incident and no arrests have yet been made.

The Orchard Theatre has been approached for comment.
