Left tunnel at Dartford Crossing shut for emergency repairs

Traffic is queuing on the M25 after the left tunnel of the Dartford Crossing was shut for emergency repairs.

The taller right hand tunnel remained open during the closure, which has since been lifted.

Highways England has said traffic conditions are not expected to return to normal until between 1.30pm and 1.45pm.

It has caused delays for motorists heading from Kent to Essex.
