Dartford boss Tony Burman has swooped to sign experienced midfielder Ollie Berquez from Blue Square South rivals Chelmsford.
The 28-year-old began his career as a youth player at Ipswich Town but left the Tractor Boys for Chelmsford in 1997 without making a senior appearance.
After four years at the Essex club he departed for Dagenham & Redbridge, but after failing to make an impact he had spells at Canvey Island, Stevenage and Woking before returning to Chelmsford in May 2007.
Burman pounced after Berquez was released from Melbourne Park last month, singing him onto terms at Princes Park on Tuesday night.
He said: "Berquez is a very experienced midfield player at Conference South and Conference levels, and I’m delighted to be adding another quality player to the squad."
