The second man then took a knife from the kitchen and stabbed the suspect in the arms, leg, and face.

During the assault the victim called police and hung up after being connected to an operator so as not to raise suspicion.

Officers attended and the man was taken to a hospital in London for treatment to injuries including 10 stab wounds, extensive bruising, a broken nose, and a collapsed lung.

Following inquiries, Knapp was located and arrested.

He pleaded guilty to unlawful wounding, and possession of cocaine that he was caught with when arrested.

He was sentenced at Maidstone Crown Court on Monday, April 23, and jailed for two years and nine months.

Investigating officer PC Rebecca Kemp said: "This was a violent and pre-planned attack, committed with absolute disregard for the wellbeing of the victim.

"Fortunately, he survived the attack and provided evidence that ultimately imprisoned Knapp."

Inquiries to locate the second man remain ongoing.
