New Ash Green Tandoori goes up for sale on Facebook

You could have your chance to own an Indian restaurant at a village shopping centre for just £16,000.

New Ash Green Tandoori was listed on Facebook for its site at The Row in Longfield, near Gravesend.

Seller Hussain Iqbal says the venue has an open lease which ends at the end of 2026, with those interested able to "extend as long as you want”.

The restaurant is currently closed for both collection and delivery options.

Attempts to call the takeaway are met with the following message: "At the moment we are having a refurbishment in our takeaway, so we do apologise for any inconvenience.

"Please bear with us as we will be reopening and having a big relaunch.

"We look forward to hearing from you very soon."

Last month, one of the tandoori’s neighbouring businesses, The Co-op, was forced to close at the shopping centre after being targeted by vandals.

The incident saw the branch shut for one day when thugs destroyed its shutters.

A cash machine was also damaged during the raid.
