This is the aftermath of a bus crash that led to one of the main routes into Dartford being closed this afternoon.

The number 428 service was involved in a collision with a Mercedes car.

It is understood the car driver was injured in the crash, near West Hill Primary School, in West Hill.

West Hill was closed at the junction outside Dartford Grammar School for Boys. The road re-opened at about 3pm.

The single-decker bus is owned by Arriva Southern Counties and was operating the 428 service from Bluewater to Erith.

It is believed to have left Bluewater at 12.15pm.
