CCTV images released after wrapped Christmas presents taken in burglary at Stanham Road, Dartford

CCTV images have been released by police investigating a burglary where Christmas presents were reportedly stolen from a pensioner's home.

The stills show three men who officers want to speak to after the alleged incident in Stanham Road area of Dartford.

An electronic book reader and jewellery also went missing from the property between noon and 12.20pm on Friday, December 23.

The victim – a woman in her 70s – returned home from church to discover that her curtains had been drawn and a downstairs window was hanging from its frame.

She then discovered that the house had been searched and a number of personal belongings had gone.

A police spokesman said: "Inquiries into the incident are ongoing and anyone who recognises the men in the CCTV images are urged to get in touch."
