NHS offers chance to quiz health chiefs

Parents and youngsters will get the chance to quiz health professionals next week.

Kent Community Health NHS Trust will be discussing plans for services such as health visiting, school nursing, children’s therapy and services for looked after children.

Head of public and patient engagement Karen Edmunds said: "This event is an opportunity for us to listen to what parents and voluntary sector groups have to say about our children and young people’s services.

"It’s also a chance for people to sit down with service managers and talk about what works well and what needs improving, and to work together to find solutions."

The session will take place at Acacia Hall from 9.30am until 1pm on Wednesday, April 10.

Lunch will be provided.

The Trust says it would particularly like to hear from parents, young people and people who work in the voluntary or community sector.
