Man in critical condition after moped crash

A pensioner is fighting for his life after his moped hit a kerb and he was thrown from his bike.

Kent Police is appealing for witnesses to the crash on the A206 Bob Dunn Way in Dartford on Friday (April 27) at 5pm.

The 68-year-old Dartford man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and he remains there in a critical but stable condition.

The road was closed westbound until 8pm while the rider was treated by an ambulance crew, and police carried out their investigations.
