M25 lanes reopened after crash involving two lorries near the Dartford Crossing

Two lanes of the M25 clockwise have reopened after a crash involving two lorries brought traffic to a grinding halt.

The incident happened just before junction 1B near the Dartford Crossing shortly after 8am this morning.

Lots of debris was left in the road and lanes one and two were shut temporarily shortly after.

The vehicles were moved onto the hard shoulder and the road was then fully reopened. No injuries have been reported.

Delays peaked at 20 minutes but traffic levels are now expected to return to normal.
