Queues formed as far back as the Dartford Bridge and Bluewater as the road was fully closed at about 8.10am.

Two lanes were later opened but now all traffic is flowing once again.

Police were called to the incident at around 7.50am and a spokesman said: “Officers attended the scene where one person reported a minor injury.

“One lane was closed while arrangements were made to recover a vehicle and remove debris from the carriageway.”

No issues from the previous crash remain but it is reported a car has broken down in the similar area.
