DETECTIVES have issued CCTV footage of a robber who threatened a shop assistant with a knife and demanded money from a safe.

The 24-year-old female staff member was forced to open the safe and the raider stole in excess of £2,000. He ran out of the Co-Op store in Colney Road, Dartford, towards Queen Street.

The incident happened on Sunday, Jiuly 2, at about 7pm. The robber is described as being of ethnic origin, 40-years old, of slim to medium build with short dark greying hair. He was wearing a baseball cap and sunglasses.
