A government minister has visited Dartford to talk to ex-servicemen and women.

Defence secretary Bob Ainsworth was at the Glentworth Club, in Lowfield Street, on Thursday morning.

The Labour cabinet minister's visit comes just days after a general election was announced, in which Dartford is a key marginal seat.
