Four-vehicle crash causes rush-hour problems

A ROAD accident involving four vehicles caused congestion around a motorway junction in the county during Thursday's evening rush-hour.

The crash happened just before 5.25pm on the London-bound carriageway of the A2, near Dartford.

Heavy traffic built up around the junction with the M25 while emergency servies attended the scene.

An ambulance spokesman said it was not thought anyone was seriously hurt.
