An access road for a primary school has been shut ahead of the return of pupils due to flytipping.

The narrow country lane was shut today to allow Kent County Council's highways team to access the route between Lower Road and Highlands Hill.

Road users are being advised to find alternate routes where possible.

It comes ahead of the return of pupils following the Easter break at St Paul's Church of England Primary, which is based along School Lane.

Last week another country lane in Pease Hill, Ash was targeted by flytippers and was closed for up to two weeks due to asbestos.
