Fire engines in Dartford called to St Martin's Road after fire in garden

Firefighters were called to a blaze in a garden in Dartford.

Two fire engines were sent to the property in St Martin's Road where crews found a fire affected two external doors and a window.

They were called at 3.52pm yesterday and spent about 10 minutes at the scene.

Crews wore breathing apparatus and used hose-reel jets of water to extinguish the flames.

No casualties were reported.

The fire is believed to have started accidentally due to an electrical fault, a fire service spokesman said.
