Charlton are likely to have to settle for a play-off place after drawing at lowly Exeter in League 1 on Saturday.

The Addicks are now six points behind Leeds in the second automatic promotion place with two games left.

Phil Parkinson’s side fell behind when George Friend broke the deadlock after 58 minutes with a close range header.

Kyel Reid brought the visitors level after 71 minutes when the assistant referee signalled for a goal after his low shot was cleared from close to the line by substitute Scott Golbourne.

Deon Burton and Miguel Llera saw efforts hit the woodwork, while a late Nicky Forster header was cleared off the line.

At the other end, Addicks keeper Darren Randolph (pictured) tipped Ryan Harley's header onto the post.
