Wisdom Estates (Dartford) enter Dartford and Gravesham Business Awards

After years of working for other estate agents, Robert Wisdom and wife Diane decided to set up on their own.

After witnessing the stress caused to vendors and buyers when communication and attention to detail was not maintained between all parties, two years ago they launched their own business, determined to do better.

Wisdom Estates (Dartford) Ltd, in Spital Street, Dartford, aims to change the perception of estate agents by bringing a fresh approach to offering exceptional customer service, whilst setting fair and reasonable selling fees.

The result is seen by the numerous testimonials on the company’s website, www.wisdom-estates.co.uk.

There are three employees, one of whom has just completed their apprenticeship. The company also takes a strong interest in the local community.

Finance director Diane Wisdom said: “We sponsor and attend school fairs, donate Christmas trees to schools and offer an £100 donation scheme to ellenor hospice.

“Support is also given to the annual Easter egg hunt organised this year by Dartford Round Table. We sponsored events held by Avtar Sandhu, in his capacity as the previous Mayor of Dartford.”

The company has entered The Dartford and Gravesham Business Awards, which are supported by the Messenger, and each entrant gets a free profile in our papers and on our website.

This year’s award sponsors are Dartford council, Gravesham council, Barnes Roffe, Kent Business School (University of Kent), the KM Group (Dartford Messenger and Gravesend Messenger), Lloyds Bank, Thomson Snell and Passmore, Edinburgh House, University of Greenwich and Mid Kent College.

Entries have now closed. The winners will be announced in a few weeks.
