Darts boss Burman feels he has a real talent in Erskine (pictured) and hopes the well travelled frontman can help fire the club to success next season.

Burman said of the 23-year-old: "Jacob has got a lot of potential and it’s about whether we can bring that potential out.

"He was not consistent enough last season, but he worked hard and I am pleased about that.

"If he can have a really good pre-season then hopefully we can bring out the best in him. I want to give him a chance – that’s what we’re going to do, and he’s up for the challenge.

"I am looking forward to Jacob coming through a real good pre-season, and if he can put his mind to it he will be decent for us."

Erskine played league football for Gillingham during the 2009/10 season after moving to Priestfield from Bromley.

He has been with a number of non-league sides, including Kent sides Ebbsfleet, Margate and Maidstone.
