Dartford are expecting season ticket sales for the 2012-13 campaign to break all records.

The Darts return to the highest level of non-league football for the first time in more than 25 years.

And chairman Dave Skinner said: "We’ve sold 200-odd already and that’s with 10 days of early prices to go.

"We are expecting something more than 400 all-told, which will be a great start to the season for us as the previous best is something like 350.

"The day I’m looking forward to more than any is when the fixtures come out on July 2. Then we’ll see where we are and who we’re up against and we can start to plan."

Mr Skinner revealed he expects costs to increase by 10-15% this year, with the majority of the extra expenditure coming in the form of travelling expenses.

He said: "There are going to be a lot of extra costs next season which we’ll have to meet. We have got some long trips coming up this year and will require nights away in hotels.

"It is a great disadvantage to be part-time against full-time opponents but there are an established core of part-time teams in the Premier.

"We had some good discussions with representatives from other clubs at the Conference annual meeting a couple of weeks ago and came away with a lot of information.
